Mazón criticizes the recommendations of the Ecological Transition and asks to use bottled water for drinking and cooking in the municipalities affected by DANA

The president of the Valencian Generalitat, Carlos Mazón, has criticized the recommendations of Ecological Transition regarding water consumption in the municipalities of the region affected by DANA. In a message on his social network profile, X has described them as “erroneous”: “We consider it important to clarify the following official recommendations regarding the use of water.”

Thus, the president has asked to use bottled water for drinking and cooking in the affected municipalities. However, the Ministry had recommended boiling it in 60 of the affected towns.

The Valencian leader added that at the moment there are “no” official recommendations regarding heating water for consumption. “Yes, it can be used to shower and wash,” he added.

Mazón recalled that the Valencians They have free bottled water at different points in each of the locations. “If you have any questions, consult the municipal authorities,” he concluded.

According to the Ecological Transition forecast, the 7,000 people who still do not have water service will have their supply restored within a maximum period of ten days.
