The mayor of Bucaramanga, Jaime Beltrán, reacted after learning the price of tickets for the Colombian soccer final match against Santa Fe this saturday in Bogota.
Reaction
It all started last Saturday, when the Santander fans invaded the field after the 1-0 victory in the first leg.
Later, Méndez was attacked in the stadium Alfonso Lopez and pointed out that for the return match there would be no visiting fans.
Beltrán moved and sent a message to his counterpart in Bogotá, Carlos Fernando Galán, Quin clarified that fans would have the option of watching the game in the stadium, a fact that is being analyzed in a meeting.
Once Beltrán learned the value of the tickets, he said: “Charging almost 500 thousand pesos per ticket from the @Abucaramanga fans is unfair, and even more so when the agreement between clubs and bars was established at 265 thousand for each visiting fan,” he wrote on his social networks.
And he added: “It’s a shame that these decisions are made and a fan who behaved up to the mark is stigmatized, welcoming the people of the capital in peace, with kindness, respect and making them feel at home.”
Finally, the president of Bucaramanga stated: “My respect to Bogotá and the fans of @SantaFe, they will always be received in Bucaramanga with the same effusiveness and cordiality as last Saturday.”
