Querétaro.- The governor of Queretaro, Mauricio Kuri Gonzalezmet this Wednesday with Jorge Alberto Hank Inzunza one of the directors of Grupo Caliente, along with his father, businessman and politician JGeorge Hank Rhon to ask them to stay with the Gallos Blancos team in the capital.
It was through a short message, Kuri Gonzalez revealed that he had a meeting with Hank, in which he expressed his desire to keep the Gallos Blancos in Querétaro.
“I met with Jorgealberto Hank, with whom I discussed the intention of keeping our Gallos Blancos in Querétaro. From our trench we will provide all the necessary security to guarantee the integrity of the teams and fans,” the state president wrote on Twitter.
Although this is not the first time that the governor has expressed his interest in Gallos Blancos remaining in Querétaro, after the tragedy that occurred in the Corregidora Stadium.
This meeting possibly served to clarify various doubts of the Kuri, because last Tuesday, the official revealed that there were already two buyers who were interested in the equipment.
This situation arises shortly after the Mexican Soccer Federation determined that the current owner would have one year to sell the franchise, due to the sanctions imposed after what happened in the Querétaro and Atlas meeting on March 5.
In this sense, Mauricio Kuri confirmed that he had had contact with people close to the negotiations who supposedly would be interested in the team remaining in Querétaro.
