In different cities of Ukraine, it was not fireworks but around 90 rockets and drones that illuminated the sky at the beginning of the New Year. According to local authorities, air defenses destroyed 87 devices launched over Lviv, while at least five people were killed during an attack in Russian-controlled Odessa and Donetsk.
