Square Enix announced that the PC from Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy will weigh much less than 150GB previously reported.
Last week the game’s Steam page was updated by adding the minimum and recommended PC requirements. Among these, one in particular had generated quite a stir among players, namely the one related to the 150 GB of space needed to run the game. We are actually talking about a really exaggerated amount of space, if we think that, for example, Microsoft Flight Simulator weighs “only” 127 GB, but on its side it has a truly remarkable amount of content.
Fortunately, this figure must have been an error or a months-old estimate by the developers, since a few hours ago the official Twitter account of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy published a post stating that in reality the dimensions that will occupy the game on PC will be around 80 GB at launch, in practice almost half.
If you are a PlayStation player, on the other hand, know that the game will take up approx 50GB on PS4 and PS5. No details have been provided for the Xbox Series X | S and Xbox One, but we assume that the dimensions should not differ much from those of the Sony consoles.
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy will be available for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, PC and streaming with GeForce NOW on October 26, 2021. Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is also coming to Nintendo Switch in the cloud version in some regions, again starting October 26. Original, comic-inspired costumes have recently been unveiled.
