Mexico City.- After describing him as mediocre and a loser, the former governor of Aguascalientes Martín Orozco accused that Marko Cortés, national president of the PAN, and his “team of gangsters” only cared about achieving multi-member positions in the next Congress of the Union.
Orozco joined the blue and white voices against Cortés, stating that for years it had been known that the party was not going to obtain a positive result in the presidential, Congressional and local elections, where Morena increased its presence. territorial.
“The electoral result of last June 2 was already planned or the worst agreed upon by Marko Cortés and his team of gangsters, who are only interested in the pluris and the businesses they can do,” said Orozco through a video broadcast on social networks. .
Orozco reproached that when Cortés became president of the PAN, the party governed 11 states, and today only four.
“A smaller state population than the one MC has at this moment. In the Congress of the Union, in the Senate, in the Chamber of Deputies, another one dragged down because of them; even the green party (PVEM) moved us to third place “This shameful failure has a first and last name: Marko Cortés,” he said.
He demanded that Cortés decide to occupy the first multi-member position for the Senate.
“What are you trying to put the last nail in the coffin of our party? He is a loser as he told me in my office, and a mediocre person as I told him three years ago,” he added.
The former president called on the PAN members to close ranks with a candidate for national president who is truly committed to the principles with the party and with Mexico.
Grupo Reforma published in November 2021 that Cortés and Orozco, the latter then as governor of Aguascalientes, exchanged disqualifications.
