Mario Casas presented this Tuesday in The Anthill his new movie, Exhaustwhich opens in theaters on October 31. The film in which he stars is a thriller based on the novel by Enrique Rubio, directed by Rodrigo Cortés and produced by Martin Scorsese.
In it, Casas plays a man who refuses to make another decision and he just wants to get out of the world, to the point that he just wants to live in prison and he will do whatever it takes to achieve it.
“Explaining a movie is always complicated, especially because it is unclassifiable, but it is brilliant. My character is a man to whom something very traumatic happens. and, since then, he decides to get out of life and never make any more decisions and it occurs to him that the best way to achieve this is to go to prison, so he begins to commit small crimes to achieve this,” explained the actor.
“Aren’t you impressed that it’s produced by Martin Scorsese?” the Valencian asked his guest. “In the end I have not met him, but it is incredible that someone like Martin Scorsese has opted for a Spanish film“Casas replied.
After his response, Motos wanted to know if the interpreter would dare to make the leap to Hollywood. “Yes, right now, if you call me right now, I get up from the program and leave“, confessed the guest of the Antena 3 program.
“Maybe I’m already on Scorsese’s radar, The bad thing is my English, but if Scorsese calls me I’ll learn it and whatever it takes, I’ll cut off a finger if Scorsese asks me to,” Casas admitted.
“Your brother does speak English, he is passing you on the right…” the program’s host warned him. “My brother is much prettier and a much better actor than I was at his age.that’s the truth,” responded the actor.
“His interpretation of Gervasio is incredible. The only thing is that With me he doesn’t dare to get into a ring“There is, yes, I give him a hard time,” said the interpreter about his brother, who on Thursday will visit The Anthill.
