The president of the Board, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco, and the general director of Renault Group in Spain, Josep María Recasens, have committed to working to “guarantee the future and competitiveness” of the company’s plants in the country.
This Tuesday, Fernández Mañueco held a working meeting with the Renault Management in Paris to talk “about the profound” transformation that the sector is experiencing, the crucial moment that the automotive industry is going through and the need to create an ecosystem that allows Spain and, specifically, Castilla y León to position itself in the field of new mobility.
Through his official ‘X’ account, the president of the Board has written that Castilla y León is a “leader” in the automotive sector, to which he added that the Community will “continue at the forefront of the sector.”
For this reason, the Board and Renault Spain will work “jointly to guarantee the future and competitiveness of the Group’s plants in Spain.”
The meeting is part of the tour that the Castilian and Leonese president makes in Paris and Brussels to attract investments to the Community.
