Man pays with fake bills in Hidalgo; he is doing ‘like at a fair’

Media outlets such as Ya Es Noticia Hidalgo and other national media reported this Tuesday that the facts They occurred in the San Antonio neighborhood, municipality of Ixmiquilpan.

It is specified that the man, not identified at the moment, entered a store and paid for merchandise with at least two fake currency of 500 pesos.

Apparently he had already left the business when the managers realized the scam and immediately went out to look for him, with the support of other merchants in the area.

They located the alleged fraudster, grabbed him, beat him and tied him to a post, placing a piece of cardboard on him that said “They tied me up for exchanging counterfeit bills.”

After a while, he was handed over to municipal police, who would channel the detainee and the counterfeit bills to the corresponding authority.
