The Attorney General’s Office of the State of Mexico linked to the process Antonio “N”a man investigated as allegedly involved in the death of his mother on the eve of last Mother’s Day in the municipality of Ixtapaluca.
The authority announced that the man had deprived his father of his life between May 12 and 13 inside his house located in the San Buenaventura neighborhood.
Apparently he physically attacked her and attacked her with a sharp object, causing her death. Afterwards, she hid her body for several days, allowing her to escape from the building.
Finally, the body of the 56-year-old woman was discovered almost ten days later on May 22. An investigation file under qualified homicide was opened to clarify what happened.
With the progress in the investigation into this criminal act, the Public Ministry asked the Judicial Authority to issue an arrest warrant against the possible person involved, a court order that was granted and completed a few days ago.
The Judicial Authority determined to initiate legal proceedings against this subject, and also established a period of two months for the closure of the complementary investigation and a justified precautionary measure of preventive detention, so that in July the final situation of said case will be known.
The detainee was admitted to the Penitentiary and Social Reintegration Center of Chalco, at the disposal of the Judicial Authority.
