Nathan Gilmore, 23, is a man from Mitchell, Iowa, United States, charged with first-degree murder in the death of Angela Bradbury29 years old.
The clues to solve this crime came in July 2021, after a teenager found in the Greenbelt River Trail park, south of Mitchell, a woman’s skull nailed to a stick.

Three months had passed since Bradnury’s death when the skull was found, so it was unrecognizable. The forensic doctor who examined it was able to establish that it belonged to a woman, but could not confirm her identity.
It was not until February 2022, 10 months after her death, that Bradbury’s family filed a complaint for her disappearance, since they had not heard from her since April of the previous year.
The DNA samples and his family’s dental records allowed authorities to identify the skull found months ago in the park and ruled Angela’s death a homicide.
The last trace of the woman indicated that she had met on April 6, 2021 with Gilmore in the Cerro County Court jail. That day, the man was there for a court hearing, while the woman had been released on a trespassing charge.

When authorities interviewed Gilmore about his last meeting with the victim, they noted inconsistencies. Although she admitted picking up Bradbury near the jail the day she was last seen, her story of what happened after her changed several times.
However, the GPS trail left by Gilmore’s Facebook account showed that the man was on April 6, 2021 in the park where Bradnury’s skull was found.
But what really stunned investigators was what they found in his home. There they discovered a blackboard with a drawing of a “satanic goat head in the form of a pentagram”. In addition, next to the drawing was the date of the murder and the coordinates of the park where the remains were found.
Gilmore is currently deprived of liberty and with a bail of 1 million dollars. It is unknown if he has pleaded guilty to the charge and his trial is pending.
