Economist is general director of Senai and heads the Board of Education and Technology of CNI
The Board of Directors of BNDES (National Bank for Economic and Social Development) approved this Friday (Feb.3.2023) the name of economist Rafael Lucchesi, 56, for the presidency of the collegiate. He is Director of Education and Technology at CNI (National Confederation of Industry) and general director of the Senai (National Industrial Learning Service) since 2011.
Lucchesi also occupies the national superintendence of the session (Industry Social Service). He holds a degree in economics from UFBA (Federal University of Bahia) and was Secretary of Science, Technology and Innovation of Bahia.
In addition, he was a member of the National Education Council and chaired the National Council of State Secretaries for Science, Technology and Innovation Affairs.
The then president of the Board of Directors of the BNDES, Walter Baère, will be one of the directors of the state development bank. He had been in office since 2022 and takes on a new role at the request of BNDES president Aloizio Mercadante.
Baère is a federal attorney at AGU (Advocacia Geral da União), he was deputy executive secretary of the Ministry of Planning (2017-2018) and legal advisor to the portfolio (2012-2017). He is also a doctoral candidate in public direct at Coimbra Universityin Portugal.
