The organizers of the Lucca Comics & Games 2024 announce that from today the app LuccaCG24 Assistant is available on iOS and Android devices. Also usable offline, the application will allow us to better orient ourselves during the event thanks to the smart map. In addition, many functions have been implemented such as the possibility of have an estimate of waiting times or receive push notifications to remind us of events we want to follow.

THE NEW LUCCA COMICS & GAMES 2024 APP IS AVAILABLE
The “LuccaCG24 Assistant” has arrived, downloadable from today on all iOS and Android devices. A real compass to have the entire event in your pocket and know in real time the variations, the presence of queues and travel times. From today onwards, the news on the program and active services will arrive directly on your device.
Lucca, September 18, 2024 – The new version of “LuccaCG24 Assistant”, theLucca Comics & Games official app; a practical travel companion, can also be used offlinedesigned to allow the festival’s large community to fully enjoy the magic of the event.
They improve the features that distinguished it in the previous edition and new features are coming: you will be able to consult the program even better, select and share your favorite events to reach them more comfortably with travel and waiting time estimates; “LuccaCG24 Assistant” will send real-time push notifications, 30 minute alerts before the start of each favorite event and will inform you when new events and news are added. The app will also notify you of any messages relating to changes to traffic.

“LuccaCG24 Assistant” welcomes the user with a Home Page that contains all the latest news, as well as useful information, such as weather forecast. The notification center allows you to recover all the communications that have taken place through the app and not miss a single one. From here you can reach all the other sections: Events, Map, Reservations and User. You can view the map with all the pavilions and meeting rooms and reach the events easily and they will be able to book and view tickets for events organized by Lucca Comics & Games, thanks to the integration with Eventbrite. Like last year, the app also becomes a tool forcreate groups based on selected events and your intereststhus organizing your participation with old and new friends. All the FAQs and Help Desk will be at your fingertips.
A MAP CAPABLE OF DOING MAGIC
The “LuccaCG24 Assistant” map has been completely redesigned compared to its previous version: the filters are clearer as are the icons, redesigned to better identify the locations, the Info Points, the Welcome Desks, the ticket offices, the events (through the “events” filter on the map you can view all the meeting rooms where events are or will be held on that day and read the details), the exhibitions, the parking lots, the shuttles, the refreshment points, the fountains, the shops. Thanks to the convenient search bar, you can directly find the meeting rooms, the pavilions, the exhibitors and also conveniently consult the specific maps of the pavilions, calculating the distance from your position and the waiting time to access the place of interest.
But the real magic is the “smart map” option: through the “Magician” buttonin fact, it will be possible to adjust the map, showing the most useful information during its use; with its powers, The Wizard will show you on the Map the most relevant points of interest at that moment, adapting to the times of the day and highlighting, for example, parking lots, ticket offices and Welcome Desks in the morning, or refreshment points and fountains during lunch hours, while at the end of the day shuttles, buses and places where evening events are scheduled will appear. In case the user prefers adventure and seeks inspiration, it will be possible to search for events near their location that are about to start at that moment and reach them.
PROGRAMMING IN THE PALM OF YOUR HAND
In the “Events” section of the app you will be able to find the official and complete program of Lucca Comics & Games 2024, the same one that can also be consulted on the website. But there is a difference: thanks to “LuccaCG24 Assistant” you will be able to save among your favorites all the events not to be missed and create your own personalized program in the “My Events” section; here the events for which you have expressed interest will be grouped, organized by date and time in which they will take place.
But in addition to these possibilities, the “Events” section is evolving and, to help create the perfect program and not miss anything, the app will show the travel times between two events to the user subsequent ones and will signal with a visual alert the “overlapping events”if one or more events of interest take place at the same time, and with “event too far away” if the time to reach the location of the next event is greater than the start time of the event.
In this section you will also be able to see exclusive events dedicated only to Level Up Fanit will be possible to consult them through the specific “Level Up” filter. Finally, for anyone who decides to create a group with your friends it will be possible to see which events have been added to their favorites, in this way during the event the whole group will be aware of the events at which the other members will also be present to reach them or even just browse their program.
ALL LUCCA COMICS & GAMES, EVEN OFFLINE
All the consultation functions of the “LuccaCG24 Assistant” app are also available offlinein this way it will be possible to enjoy the event even without the need for an internet connection.
