Lorena Velázquez, the 'Vampire Woman' who faced 'El Santo', dies at 86

On the night of April 11, the death of the Mexican actress from the Golden Age of Mexican Cinema Lorena Velazquezas confirmed by the National Association of Actors (WALK).

Vazquez is remembered for participating in films alongside El Santo and many other figures of Mexican culture, with a career that goes from 1964 to 2020, the year in which he participated in the Televisa soap opera 'La mexicana y el güero'.

“The National Association of Actors deeply regrets the death of our colleague Lorena Velázquez. Our condolences to her family, friends and colleagues. Rest in Peace,” ANDA shared on its social networks about the also called 'The Queen of Fantastic Cinema'.

Until the time of publishing this news article, the official causes of death have not been made known.
