Covid: Gimbe, in 45 provinces over 500 cases per 100 thousand inhabitants
In the week from 22 to 28 December there is an increase of new infections from Sars-Cov-2 in all regions, with the exception of the autonomous province of Bolzano and ranging from 9.6% in Friuli-Venezia Giulia to 257.6% in Umbria. While in 45 provinces there are over 500 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
This is what emerges from the new monitoring of the Foundation Gimbe which highlights how “the testing system is already haywire, there are too many false negatives in the antigenic swabs and with the emergence of a huge number of cases there is a risk of lockdown in fact, regardless of the modification of the quarantine rules “.
