Forward of the Polish national team Robert Lewandowski said goodbye to the fans and teammates in Bayern. The player turned to the fans and players of Munich in Instagram (social network is banned in Russia; belongs to the Meta company, which is recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation).
“Thanks to everyone who supported us and helped us win many titles. I am very proud of all that we have achieved together,” wrote Lewandowski. He also noted that he will keep in his heart all the eight years he spent at Bayern.
On July 16, Bayern Munich announced the imminent transfer of Lewandowski to Barcelona. The German club noted that they had reached an oral agreement with the Catalans.
Earlier, the media reported that Bayern intend to raise 50 million euros from the sale of the striker. Transfer fee for Lewandowski evaluated 45 million euros.
Lewandowski’s contract with Bayern expires in the summer of 2023. Despite this, the Pole expressed his willingness to leave the club and join Barcelona.
