An irresistible call
The definitive starting grid for the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2024 will be established today from 8.00pm to 9.00pm with the Hyperpole which will assign the pole position (you can follow the session live written on FormulaPassion.it).
There Ferrari will participate in the Hyperpole in the Hypercar class with both official 499Ps, the #50 and the #51 which won the Centenary edition in 2023. Antonio Fuoco is the pole position specialist at Ferrari and the two Hypercars of the Maranello Scuderia will have to compete with 2 Cadillacs, 2 Porsches, an Alpine and a BMW which set the best time in Qualifying yesterday.
The team principal of the F1 Scuderia is also in the Ferrari garage Frederic Vasseurwho joined his Endurance colleagues led by Antonello Coletta so as not to miss the legendary endurance race on the circuit de la Sarthe.
F1 obviously observes a weekend break before taking to the track for consecutive weekends in Spain, Austria and Great Britain. Ferrari is fresh from the defeat in Canada and is called to raise its head in Barcelona. In the meantime, however, there is the 24 Hours of Le Mans to experience in the hope of defending the success achieved a year ago.
