The sanction will be observed at the first pit stop
Toyota #7 has been excluded from today’s Hyperpole (appointment at 8pm, live written on FormulaPassion.it) for having caused the red flag that ended Qualifying prematurely, but also the Ferrari has collected penalties that will impact the 101st edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The reigning champion Ferrari #51 – of Pier Guidi, Calado and Giovinazzi – and the customer Ferrari #83 (Ye-Shwartzman-Kubica) will have to serve a 10 second penalty in the race at the first pit stop not having respected the pit lane procedure during Qualifying.
Today’s program includes the third free practice session from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, then it will be the turn of the Hyperpole and finally from 10:00 pm to 11:00 pm there will be the last free practice session. Tomorrow will be a rest day and on Saturday the race will start at 4pm.
