It seems that the collaboration between Nintendo and LEGO, and more specifically between Zelda and LEGOwill finally lead to the publication of the set dedicated to Large Deku Treean object that has been floating around in the rumor mill for a long time now and which could be released in 2024according to a leaker.
This, at least, is what 1414falconfan reports, an Instagram account that has previously correctly anticipated several LEGO sets, as a sort of specialist in the sector, in particular with regards to collaborations between the company and Nintendo intellectual properties.
The leaker in question also reported other details on the arriving object, which obviously we cannot take as official but which – given the precedents – could be very plausible.
A Large Deku Tree to build
The set is reportedly expected to include 2500 pieces and its release should be scheduled for September 2024, although obviously the matter remains to be confirmed. The presence of some new accompanying minifigures may also be expected.
However, there is no information on the possibility price of the object in question, but it is likely that this is not a factor to be taken into great consideration by collectors, for whom such a product could be a real treasure.
The Great Deku Tree is a recurring element in the series, already present in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and subsequently also in The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker and in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It is an enormous plant that protects forests, the location of which varies depending on the chapter (the Kokiri Forest in the first case and the Woodland Archipelago in the second).
