Satakunta the district court issued an interlocutory judgment on Monday in a case in which the prosecutor is demanding a 55-year-old man be sentenced to at least nine and a half years in prison for killing his wife in Rauma. The district court ordered the accused to undergo a state of mind investigation.

According to the court, the man hit his wife three times in the neck area with the blades of a multi-tool in June. According to the district court, this was not an injury, but the man’s act was intentional.
The district court will take a position on the criminal title and possible punishment only after the state of mind investigation has been completed.
