Before the stroke of the eighteenth hour, the group was compacted once again due to a bad accident which saw Daniel Mancinelli protagonist in spite of himself with the Aston Martin #27 of the Heart of Racing team.
The Italian driver, remaining on the outside of the #51 in a right-hand bend before a large braking section, appears to have independently lost control of his car after ending up on a dirtier trajectory. Mancinelli lost the rear, with the car then triggering a sort of pendulum effect which then led him to spin, thus slamming the left side of the car violently into the barriers.
Unfortunately, upon impact with the tire barrier the car overturned and overturned, generating fear for the condition of the driver, who then exited the car apparently without suffering any serious consequences.

Clearly, Mancinelli was taken to the medical center for further checks given the violence of the contact against the barriers, not only for the dynamics, but also for the speed. After the necessary checks, Aston Martin wanted to reassure on the condition of its driver, confirming that Mancinelli was released from the circuit’s medical center in good condition, without encountering any major problems.
“Following an accident involving car #27 of Team Heart of Racing with an Aston Martin Vantage GT3, Daniel Mancinelli is well and has been released from the circuit’s medical centre,” reads the official statement released by the British manufacturer.
The impact pushed the race commissioners to bring in the Safety Car, not only to make sure of Mancinelli’s condition, but also to repair the barriers made of tires stacked on top of each other: the work did not take long, but they consolidated the group, once again starting a challenge between different manufacturers for success in their respective categories.
