Ferrari is already starting to prepare for the 24h of Le Mans, the next event of the FIA World Endurance Championship which will be held on 15-16 June.
There is less than a month left until what is considered the most important event of the World Championship season and the men from Maranello will appear at the Circuit de la Sarthe to defend the historic success obtained in 2023.
This morning a beautiful sun shines on the Fiorano track and at 10:00 sharp the 499P #51 of Alessandro Pier Guidi/James Calado/Antonio Giovinazzi took to the track, with the driver from Tortona at the wheel who put together some handfuls of laps, interspersed with a couple of pit stops.
On the Cavallino’s home track there is also the 499P #83 of AF Corse competing for the Hypercar Class dedicated to private teams with Yifei Ye/Robert Shwartzman/Robert Kubica, also ready to put together a few laps to check that everything be in order in the afternoon.
Tomorrow it will be the turn of the #50 of Antonio Fuoco/Miguel Molina/Nicklas Nielsen; once the activities have been completed, Ferrari will pack their bags and send the materials to France, also because all the technical checks, the weigh-in in the center of Le Mans and the Test Day on Sunday 9 June are scheduled for the week before the race.
