When they say ‘Night and Day’, it is immediately easy to think of the grandiose song written by Cole Porter in 1932, which has become one of the most played jazz standards interpreted by any self-respecting musician. However, if it is a question of ‘Day and night’lovers of the most underground hip hop will have no choice but to start singing the song by Frtiz da Cat with Inoki and Joe Cassano.
But speaking of motorsport, these two words automatically refer to endurance races that go from the light of day to the darkness of night and Iron Lynx has created a specific livery to face the 24h of Le Mans 2024.
The team from Romagna has its Lamborghini Huracán #60 entered in the LMGT3 Class in the FIA World Endurance Championship, with Claudio Schiavoni, Matteo Cressoni and Franck Perera fresh from the podium achieved at the 6h of Spa-Francorchamps who will now also want to be protagonists on the Circuit de la Sarthe .
On 15-16 June their Taurus car will always have the basic yellow-black color, but with a different scheme than the usual one called ‘Day and Night’, precisely to best represent what will be seen in France.
“It highlights the test of endurance and the pressure exerted on every element of the team and the car during the entire event, from start to finish,” explains the note from the team, which will also have on hand two Lamborghini SC63 LMDh in the Hypercar Class, the Huracan of the Iron Dames and also the Oreca LMP2 which it will manage in collaboration with Proton Competition.
“I inform you that it is your world. And that it is your day. It is a journey of no return”to paraphrase the aforementioned rappers.
