On Tiktok, according to the prosecutors, the man asked the children to switch to the Snapchat application, where he made the victims send videos to him. Videos posted on Snapchat normally disappear after a maximum of two views. However, according to the prosecutors, the man used a separate application with which he could save the videos sent by the children to himself.
I’m talking the investigation started when the father of one of the victims filed a criminal complaint after noticing a conversation on his daughter’s phone, in which she was talking with her friends about a person using the nickname Krisseboih, who had asked the children for pictures without a shirt. With the help of the nickname and the US National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, the police finally found out the man’s identity.
The man was arrested and his home was searched in April last year. In the phones and computer seized from the man, the police found, among other things, more than 1,600 videos that the children had sent to the man on Snapchat. In addition, the devices had other exploitation material downloaded from the Internet.
A man accused of, among other things, 64 gross sexual abuse of a child. According to the prosecutors, the acts must be considered heinous because of, among other things, the age of the children and because they were committed in a particularly humiliating way for the victims of the crimes.
The police have previously said that they suspect that there would be even more victims.
