E&Emirates launched a new report reviewing the future of the telecommunications sector based on artificial intelligence. The report presents the company’s journey in adopting artificial intelligence applications and shaping the digital future of the United Arab Emirates, and also highlights E&Emirates’ adoption of more than 400 use cases of artificial intelligence and 160 machine learning models in its various operations.
Dina Al Mansouri, CEO of Artificial Intelligence and Data at E&Emirates Group, said: “This report demonstrates E&Emirates’ thoughtful approach, guiding principles, and the distinguished achievements it has achieved in the field of artificial intelligence within the UAE. The impact that artificial intelligence applications have had over the past years on the communications sector and other sectors is extremely important and cannot be limited. Therefore, E& is keen to keep pace with this technology and achieve leadership in it by adopting artificial intelligence applications with the aim of improving customer experiences, efficiency of operations, expanding productivity and reducing costs.”
Al Mansouri added: “This report is an essential chapter in our journey with artificial intelligence so far, and our continued construction and deployment of artificial intelligence applications responsibly will be of utmost importance to keep pace with the rapid and permanent development in our digital world.” The comprehensive report provides a general and accurate vision of the entry of artificial intelligence into a new era, in which telecommunications companies such as E&Emirates go beyond their traditional role in providing communication services, and extend to providing fully digital experiences. The report also provides a look at the details of E&Emirates’ proactive reliance on artificial intelligence and data applications, including key enablers, use cases, and ethical standards. It also provides a set of practical guidance and best practices for companies preparing to begin their journey in the field of artificial intelligence.

Since the beginning of 2024, the company has accelerated its efforts to integrate artificial intelligence to enhance sustainability in terms of resource allocation and energy saving, and has also developed artificial intelligence operations to improve its network.
