To live in Los Angeles, for a VIP, it’s not always plain sailing. However, we are not talking about paparazzi or the Faglia di Sant’Andrea, but about cars. Just ask the resident of Beverly Hills that in the middle of the night he found himself a truck in the driveway, against his house. This is made known by the towing and recovery service Pepe’s Towing Servicewho published an account of a rather delicate work that involved a heavy vehicle and luxury cars.
According to what was reconstructed by those present, the truck involved in the accident was fully loaded and the driver lost control of the brakes for reasons not yet specified. Instead of cornering, he went straight into a multi-million dollar house. But before crashing into the house, the truck crushed the cars parked in the driveway. They weren’t just any cars: it is a Lamborghini Aventador and a Bentley Continental. Also a model Maybach was damaged, albeit minimally, by the accident.
According to the company that took care of the recovery of the truck, the van found itself stuck in a wall, which made the extraction particularly difficult. The first step was to tilt the truck so that the Maybach could be retrieved, since that car hadn’t been damaged too badly. Once removed, the truck was pulled as far back as possible so that it could be freed from the aforementioned low wall, being careful not to further damage the house or puncture the diesel tank. Finally, the vehicle lift was brought into the field, which completed the work in a particularly delicate and meticulous way. The heavy vehicle was therefore recovered. The same cannot be said of cars: their fate is likely to be sealed.
