Kylian Mbappé has announced that fans can expect formal confirmation from his next club “in the coming days”.
The French striker played his last game for Paris Saint-Germain on Saturday, helping his team lift the Coupe de France at the expense of Lyon. Although he has confirmed that he will leave his current club, Mbappé has not yet revealed what his next destination will be.

That said, Mbappe is expected to join Real Madrid on a free transfer, and the 25-year-old was recently asked why he has not yet made his next destination known.
“Because I think the best thing is to finish saying goodbye,” Mbappe declared after the French Cup victory. “All I wanted was to finish well.”
“There is a time for everything. I will announce my new club in due time. It’s only a few days away, so no problem.”
Asked if his future will be closed before Euro 2024 this summer, the Frenchman added: “I don’t know yet, there are still some details. The most important thing was to win and experience these final emotions.”
Mbappé leaves PSG with a record of 256 goals and 108 assists in 308 games throughout his seven years at the Parc des Princes.
“I always understood where I was, this unique experience of playing for PSG,” he reflected before his departure. “Playing for PSG, I recommend it.”
“I’ve been lucky enough to experience it. What I’ve experienced I wouldn’t experience anywhere else. Now I’m going to experience something else and I’m sure it will also be magical.”
