Warhorse Studios has officially announced Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2his new action-adventure role-playing game for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. The release date is currently set to be generic 2024. You can see the trailer just below.
The team says that Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will take us into the 15th century bohemia and will put us in the shoes of Henry of Skalitz, a young man who begins a journey to avenge the death of his parents. In the video game there will be a total of five hours of cinematic video (compared to approximately three in the first).
We'll start as an aspiring warrior starting out from a blacksmith's forge to becoming a rebel, crossing paths with a variety of characters including historical figures such as the King of Hungary, Sigismund the Red Fox and his allies. We will have to navigate a brutal but beautiful medieval world. The environments will be divided into large cities, green forests and many places in a freely explorable open map, approximately double larger than the first game.
The plot is a sequel to the previous chapter, but is written in such a way that it is also understandable for who hasn't played the first Kingdom Come: Deliverance.
A true medieval experience: Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is meant to be a true role-playing game: based on our actions and choices it will be possible to influence the game world, even in the smallest elements such as the way people react to your presence if you commit crimes. We will be able to customize the character, his skills, equipment and act according to our morals.
The protagonist of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will be able to test himself with various challenges, from blacksmithing to archery, all within a world based onFifteenth century Europe. It will be possible to find all the typical elements of the period, from vast rural areas to larger cities, with wash houses, castles, taverns and much more.
In terms of gameplay, we can expect real-time first-person battles with many types of weapons and fighting styles that will suit our tastes. You can fight on foot, on horseback or use stealth, attacking with blades, impact weapons or ranged attacks.
