Los Mochis, Sinaloa.- Officially, Karina Aide Soto Arellano is the owner of the Liaison Office of the Secretary of Foreign Relations (SRE) in the municipality of Ahome.
The entire Cabildo approved this proposal made by Mayor Gerardo Vargas Landeros himself, previously considering that he met the requirements to occupy said position.
However, it will be this week when the now municipal official goes to Mexico City to carry out training and certification to later take on the position in full.
Interviewed after the Cabildo Session, Soto Arellano said she was happy with the opportunity given to her, alluding to the fact that it could take a matter of a week to complete the training stage and be in a position to open the office by the beginning of the month of March.
“It’s fast (training). The people who are going to train us tell me that if we keep our batteries up until nightfall, we’ll be out in a week. I think the office should be open by the first of March.”
Similarly, he pointed out that he has already had some training; however, he clarified that he has to meet the rest of the requirements that are asked of him in order to operate.
In this sense, he asked citizens to be patient and refrain from carrying out an online procedure or with third parties if it is not necessary in order to avoid fraud.

“I want to recommend that you do everything through the 800 line that the SRE has, it is an official line because there is a lot of fraud, if they ask you to deposit in an Oxxo, do not do anything, it is a payment directly in the bank that will be made in your moment since they get a date. I highly recommend that you wait if you don’t have an emergency.”
