US Vice President Kamala Harris said the country would carry out “significant and unprecedented” economic retaliation against Russia if the country led by Vladimir Putin invades Ukraine.
“Let me be clear: I can say with absolute certainty that if Russia invades Ukraine, the United States and our allies and partners will impose significant and unprecedented economic costs,” Harris posted this Saturday morning in his profile on Twitter.
The vice president also said on Saturday that a Russian invasion will have a “swift, severe and united” response from the US. She is attending the Security Conference in Munich, Germany.
