Juventus transfer market swoops on Samardzic and overtakes Napoli. Brighton at the window
Twist in the transfer market soap opera that should have ended with Lazar Samardzic's move to Napoli. The 21-year-old Serbian midfielder from Udinese – who was one step away from Inter in the summer, but then the deal fell through – sensationally joins theJuventus orbits thanks to the work of Cristiano Giuntoli who seems to have reached an agreement with the player's father: salary of 3 million per season (against the 2 plus bonuses proposed by Napoli).
However, Juve lacks an agreement with Udinese, while De Laurentiis' club has it (20 million euros plus 5 million bonuses for Samardzic's card). The Bianconeri are therefore now favourites, but the goal has not yet been reached and therefore nothing should be taken for granted. Also because in the background there is the interest of De Zerbi's Brighton who are looking for a shot in the arm.
Transfer market, Milan-Popovic skipped. Juventus tries
Matija Popovic and Milan are very far away. The deal seems to have fallen through, after the Serbian striker born in 2006, released by Partizan Belgrade, flew to Milan with his entourage to seek an agreement with the Rossoneri club. Instead, the commissions deemed too high by Milan and the arrival of the agents without having agreed with the management of Via Aldo Rossi seem to have led to the definitive break. Juventus immediately took action asking for information, but also pay attention to PSG and Manchester City who seem to have ended up offside in the last few hours.
