The Pourchaire case

The decision was communicated by Juncos Hollingerwith the team making it official Nolan Siegel as a replacement for #78 this weekend. The team’s explanation
The confirmation came from the press release published by the team on its official website: “The increase in online abuse and harassment, which has occurred following the events of this week, has led to a very difficult experience for Agustin, the team and the entire INDYCAR fan base, and the safety of Agustin and the rest of the competitors must be taken into consideration first and foremost – it is read – abuse, hatred and harassment in any form is a detriment to this sport and we must prioritize the mental and physical well-being of our drivers and competitors.”
An explanation that adds to the words of Brad Hollingerco-owner of the team: “Online abuse is unacceptable and we need to make sure our drivers are both mentally and physically prepared when they get into the car. We are saddened by the events that led to this scenario.” Until proven otherwise, Canapino will return to the track at Laguna Seca.
