Juma Al Majid Center for Culture and Heritage in Dubai is participating in the activities of the Qatar University Book Fair, organized by Qatar University Press, in cooperation with the Qatari Ministry of Culture at its headquarters in Doha, during the period from January 28 to February 1.
This participation is a response to the invitation that the Center received from Qatar University Press, and represents a great opportunity for the Center to meet its audience in the State of Qatar, including researchers and graduate students at universities. This participation also contributes to introducing the Center and its distinguished publications, and its role in the field of manuscript preservation, and providing… Sources and references, especially rare ones.
The exhibition was opened by Dr. Maryam Al-Maadeed, Vice President of Qatar University for Research and Graduate Studies, who said: “Organizing this exhibition constitutes an important part of the university’s vision, mission and goals, as organizing the event comes from a desire on the part of both parties: the Ministry of Culture and Qatar University, to support education and spread culture.” between members of society by all available means.”
This session witnesses the participation of (29) Qatari publishing houses and centres, including: the Ministry of Endowments, the Sheikh Hamad Award for Translation and International Understanding, the Qatari Documentation House, Katara Publishing House, Rosa Publishing House, and Nabja House, in addition to the participation of (8) universities and research centres. And Arabic publishing from the countries of Morocco, the Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and the Sultanate of Oman.
