Jujutsu Kaisen is one of the most spectacular dark shonen we’ve seen in the last decade. Gege Akutami, the author, announced just over a month ago that the last chapters of the original story would soon be arriving on the pages of Shuēisha, due to this, the final chapter of the manga was scheduled – and is expected without setbacks – for September 30, 2024.
Fans feel that there are still many loose ends and especially need a more clarified character and a return to the story of sorcerers – yes, we are referring to Goyo Satoru. While this is being realized or denied, the editor of Jujutsu Kaisen confirmed that we are a little further from the end than we thought.
The final chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen will be published on September 30, 2024 in this year’s Weekly Shōnen Jump issue 44. It was reported that it will feature color art on the cover. In addition, it was said that there will be a “happy announcement” for the title.
It is even more important to note that the editor reported that “There is more to come”so fans are already beginning to inquire about what it refers to specifically. Hopes rest on new content from the original series, especially a sequel, as Tatsuki Fujimoto, the author of Chainsaw Manor as the most classic shonen usually do, such as Naruto and its sequel Shippuden or generation, referring to Boruto.
However, this seems to reflect vain hopes, if we recall the author’s previous words, which made clear his position regarding a clean ending to his work. It is likely that Jujutsu Kaisen develop some kind of spin off, however, we will have to wait to really know what is suggested for the future of the series.
We recommend: Jujutsu Kaisen, what to watch after the finale? Go for the animation, the story, the protagonist, Mei Mei?
