Jeremy Renner was using the truck to clear snow from his nephew’s car, when at one point the vehicle began to slide sideways. At that point the actor jumped off, “without applying the emergency brake,” according to the report. At that moment Renner noticed that the snowcat he could have hit his nephew and tried to get back on the vehicle, to try to stop or deflect it. To get back into the cabin though, she had to get on its moving track and so, according to the report, he was “immediately dragged under”. The heavy snow blower (almost 6500 kg) then drove over him crushing his chest and causing very serious injuries to his leg. The snowcat at that point continued on its way leaving the man in agony on the ground, with “the collapsed right side of chest and the upper one of the bust crushed”, as reported by the 911 operators themselves. His nephew and other relatives immediately rushed and tried to help the star of the Avengers until medical personnel arrive. Soon after the accident the actor was flown by helicopter to the hospital where he was subjected to two emergency interventions.

Due to the terrible accident, Jeremy Renner has broken more than 30 bones as he himself explained in a post shared on Instagram last week, immediately after being discharged from the hospital. “Morning workouts have changed everything this particular New Year,” wrote the actor in the caption of the shot in which, lying on a bed, she does gymnastics together with a physiotherapist. “These over thirty broken bones will heal, grow stronger, just as the love and bond with family and friends deepens. Love and blessings to you all,” continued the two-time Oscar nominee, thanking the followers for warmth and closeness.
