The players hit the court! Great atmosphere for this second semi-final.

After an agonizing victory for Taylor Fritz a few hours ago against Alexander Zverev in the first semifinal, the American is already waiting for his rival in Sunday’s grand final between these two giants. The favorite is Sinner, but we will see if Ruud ends his negative streak against the Italian.

Ruud, for his part, is looking for his third title of 2024, after having already played five finals this year, after victories at the ATP 250 in Geneva and the ATP 500 in Barcelona.

Sinner, who has just won two Masters 1000 tournaments (Cincinnati and Shanghai) and a Grand Slam (US Open) since August, is looking for his eighth title of the year, but to do so he must defeat, once again, Casper Ruud .

This will be the third meeting between Sinner and Ruud in any tournament, with two previous victories for the Italian in which he did not drop a set. Both victories were in Vienna, both in 2020 and 2021.
