The hutis have claimed the attack, which has not reported any injured
The Israeli army has intercepted a missile launched since Yemen during the early hours of Thursday, while hostilities intensify with the hutis militants backed by Iran. Yemen’s hutis have assumed the responsibility of the attack after resuming their attacks against Israeli territory after it breached the stop to the fire in the Gaza Strip with a wave of bombing that left more than 430 dead Palestinians.
As explained by the Israel authorities, after the launch of the projectile the sirens were activated in several areas of Israel and were heard in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. For its part, the ambulance service has indicated that no serious injury has been recorded.
«A missile launched from Yemen was intercepted by the IAF before crossing the Israeli territory. The sirens were activated according to the protocol, ”said the Israeli army in a statement, referring to its Air Force.
Group’s military operations spokesman, Yahya Sari, has confirmed the attack, indicating that they have launched a hypersonic ballistic ‘Palestine 2’ Ballistic missile against the Ben Gurion International Airport, southeast of Tel Aviv. “This operation has achieved its successful goal,” he said in statements collected by Europa Press.
In fact, the Canal 12 television network has indicated that for a few minutes the airport has suspended the landing permits, so that a flight from London that was a few minutes after landing has changed course.
