Israel denies genocide before ICJ and says accusations ‘disconnected from reality’

Israel denies carrying out genocide against the people of Palestine during the military attack in Rafah and points out that the accusations are “disconnected” from reality, these statements were made before the International Court of Justice.

During the hearing in front of the ICJlawyer Noam assured that Israel has not carried out any “large-scale” attack on Rafahbut “specific and localized operations preceded by evacuation efforts and support for humanitarian activities.”

For his part, the South African ambassador to the Netherlands, Vusimuzi Madonsela, stated that Israel He has continued the attack despite asking them to stop.

“South Africa hoped, when it last appeared before this court, that it would stop this genocidal process to preserve Palestine and its people. Instead, the genocide of Israel has continued and reached a new and horrendous phase,” Madonsela said.
