However, press reports claim that Durán would be in Chelsea’s portfolio for next season and there is even talk of a negotiation in which the Colombian would move to the Blues and Conor Gallagher would reinforce Aston Villa.

Durán’s businessman, Jonathan Herrera, referred to the issue in a talk with Caracol Radio’s VBar. Herrera also manages young Yaser Asprilla, from Watford.

“He is a player who has a contract with Aston Villa, he ended up doing things very well and the coach is counting on him, it is a club that having gotten into the Champions League is a great opportunity, but we know that he wants to play, he wants to go out and play, let’s see. Now the market is opening, the club is looking at some options and so are we.” Herrera explained.

The businessman recognized Chelsea’s interest. “The interest has always existed.
