The renowned football journalist and commentator, Carlos Antonio Velezexploded on his program on the Antena 2 station, after the rumor arose once again that he was leaving the Win Sports channel.

In his usual space ‘Palabras mayors’, Vélez wanted to clarify what his situation is and, in the process, send a message to those who spread versions on social networks about his professional life.

“I’m going to end the raw material of these drones who want to be famous on social networks and traditional media, accommodating everything I say to their crooked interests,” added the rather angry commentator.

But Vélez went further and wanted to clarify what his current situation is with the channel. “I’m going to tell you what things are like on some topics in order to put an end to all the shit they do to make themselves look pretty, feeding the curiosity of those whose ears I don’t sweeten with what they want to hear.”
Vélez recalled what he has already said on other occasions, about a moment in which he was about to leave the channel. “In my book I tell in detail the episode of My Resignation’ on October 23, 2022 at Win Sports. The conditions changed for me, some decisions were made in which I felt affected and I said that I would not renew my contract,” he said, although he added that later that decision was not made.

There is a surprise on the Win Sports channel, after Juan Carlos Peña presented his letter of resignation from the position of president of the media that owns the television rights of Colombian Professional Soccer.
“The Board of Directors of Win Sports accepted today the resignation presented by Dr. Juan Carlos Peña, to the position of president of the company, motivated by the intention of starting a project in the field of marketing.”
