According to a recent report that emerged in the past few hours, and which you find as a source, it seems that Disney would be thinking to a reboot of Iron Fist.
Iron Fist Netflix was initially well received, but then not completely convincing in the long run. However, after the success of Shang-Chi (we invite you to take a look at our dedicated review if you are curious to know our rating), it is normal that Mickey’s house is thinking of a reboot.
The last two months have been full of hope for fans of Netflix’s Marvel series, seeing and considering that first and foremost Vincent D’Onofrio has returned as Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin in the Disney + series Eye of Falconand shortly thereafter Charlie Cox made his first appearance as Matt Murdock, aka Daredevil, in Spider-Man: No Way Home (also in this case you can find the review right here).
Before going into the details we would like to point out that the report is not confirmed, so it may not turn out to be anything concrete.
First, it seems that Marvel Studios are planning to launch a new series of Iron Fist coming out on Disney +, but compared to the Netflix series it should be a little less gloomy. A light and family-friendly production but that you should just reconnect to Shang-Chi: the legend of the ten rings.
The report further states that Finn Jones, the series’ original lead actor, will not be terrified to take on the role of Iron Fistseen and considered that for the character there are completely different plans from those started with Netflix.
Disney’s Iron Fist reboot it would be a great move, given that on balance the production of Netflix does not have entirely positive opinions. We hope this report really materializes, so that we can shed new light on the character.
