Iraqi army aviation targets ISIS hideouts in Diyala

Yesterday, an Iraqi security source reported that army aircraft targeted an ISIS crane west of Hamrin Basin in Diyala Governorate, adding that the attack led to the killing of a number of terrorists, without giving further details.
For its part, the Baghdad Operations Command announced the arrest of 38 defendants in various cases, including a terrorist, in various areas of the capital. The command stated in a statement that “its forces are continuing to carry out their security operations for regional search and inspection, which resulted in the arrest of an ISIS member in one of the Ghazaliya areas, wanted according to Article 4 of terrorism, and 38 other defendants, including 18 who violated the controls and conditions of the Department of Residence and Nationality.”
She added, “The defendants were arrested in the areas of (Al-Khadraa, Rahmaniyat Al-Shuala, Abu Ghraib, Al-Amriya, Al-Jami’ah District, Al-Ghazaliyah, Al-Amana Garage, Al-Zafaraniyah, Al-Amel District, Al-Saydiyah, Al-I’lam) and a number of weapons, ammunition and prohibited materials were seized, in addition to seizing a number of numbers.” Of wheels and motorcycles violating traffic conditions and controls.”
The command confirmed that the accused and the seized materials were handed over to the competent authorities to complete the legal procedures against them.
