United States has received a response from Russia to the US proposals on Russia’s security assurance requirements. Russia is demanding, among other things, the withdrawal of American troops from Eastern and Central Europe.
According to Reuters, a U.S. State Department official says Russia’s response was received by the US ambassador to Moscow John Sullivan.
The ambassador was seen visiting the building of the Russian Foreign Ministry, but did not comment on the matter when he left.
