Insurers have until March 4 to decide whether they join MuFace’s new offer

The three insurers who could choose to continue with the health service of the officials already know the conditions of the new tender that MUFACE has put on the table to try to resolve the conflict that the institution maintained with the sector on account … of the coverage that benefits more than one Million officials. That is the deadline that MUFACE has determined in the tender he has published in the State contracting portal, where he specifies all the economic, financial and regulations that will govern the public health contest for public employees until January 31, 2028. That document determines that the total service budget will be 4,428 million euros, amount that includes the last 330 million that the Ministry of Public Function authorized last week to try to attract the three insurance groups that provide this service to the officials .

This amount involves raising the previous MuFace budget for the next triennium by 41%, after the rejection shown by insurers alleging economic uncertainty to continue with the healing concert of public employees.

In the text published this Friday, it is indicated that the new concert will come into operation on April 1 or the day following the formalization of the contract if it were later and its validity will be extended until December 31, 2027.
