Corrado Corradi, dismissal ordered by the court of Rome
The Court of Rome would have ordered the dismissal of Corrado Corradi in the context of Gedi's alleged fraud against INPS. Dagospia reports it. The general director and CEO of Gedi News, the company attributable to the Elkann-Agnelli family which publishes, among others, Repubblica, La Stampa and the 19th century should therefore come out of scene from a controversy that was raised last month.
We remind you that the magistrates are investigating the possible involvement of the old management of the Gedi Group in an alleged scam against the National Social Security Institute (INPS), which found itself in a 22.2 million hole. This would be an illicit saving for the group, which led the Financial Police to preventively seize almost 40 million euros. The investigation, which involves 101 people, led to the identification of 79 workers sent into early retirement between the ages of 49 and 56, most of whom did not meet the necessary requirements. The aim of this alleged scam would have been to pass on the cost of workers to INPS and workers considered too many, with significant savings for the company which, in doing so, lightens its accounts.
Indeed, the system – carried out for years – was based on some “tricks”: fictitious demotions, falsified work books, counterfeit stamps. Indeed, the involvement of external companies completely unaware of everything. The alleged scam would also have been possible thanks to the involvement of individuals within the INPS.
