Technology and banish myths. With the aim of reaching youth and generating quarry, the foundation of the metal for the formation will show the most technological and innovative side of the professions linked to the metal sector during its next participation in the classroom, which starts on March 26 in IFEMA.
Thus, students who approach the stand (Pavilion 5, 5D10) of the Foundation will be able to live live how FP schools are developing an attractive, practice and versed training in new technologies and avant -garde, also aligned with the needs of companies.
Specifically, students and students will teach how to design and manufacture inertia vehicles, which then compete in the race, in the so -called Hyperbaric Challenge. A singular, disruptive and challenging way to attract youth to metal cycles related to mechanical manufacturing and vehicle maintenance. Or be projected in the mobility of the future when knowing the Madrid Motor Student Electric project around the electric motorcycle.
There will also be live demonstrations in the stand with 3D printing, which is used in additive manufacturing, another of the great professional outputs in the metal sector. Or, for example, programmable robotics, which is another of the technologies that are already being treated in FP schools, even the use of exoskeletons, with an important labor security component.
As a complement to the entire calendar of activities, people who approach the stand can also participate in the metal rosco, an interactive contest and a test of knowledge about the sector, based on the famous television program, to try to hit 27 questions related to the profession, a gift for the participants and a final reward for those who win.
According to Héctor Aguirre, coordinator-management of the Metal Foundation for training, “the objective is, beyond informing about the enormous employment opportunities and good working conditions, bringing the most innovative face of a sector on which old myths weigh, such as that it is an eminently physical and outdated work, when in reality you can work in areas such as robotics, industrial engineering and processes, renewable energy, renewable energy or automotive. “
