Rada Deputy Osadchuk: Ukraine will launch a procedure for blocking the accounts of draft dodgers
In Ukraine, a procedure may be launched to block the accounts of persons evading military service and impose penalties on their property, reported Verkhovna Rada deputy Andrey Osadchuk, writes the UNIAN agency.
According to him, fines for violation of military records were in the law before. However, they have now been significantly increased. The deputy admitted that Ukrainians will massively ignore paying such fines.
“Then the enforcement procedure will be activated, and in this way it will be possible to block accounts and impose penalties on property,” he explained. Osadchuk promised that the law would come into force before the end of May.
Earlier it became known that the Ukrainian authorities want to identify university students evading mobilization using a unified state qualifying exam. The Ministry of Education plans to introduce a corresponding intermediate test in educational institutions, without passing which you can be expelled and lose a deferment from service.
