On Kharkovskaya Mountain in Belgorod, where the entrance to a residential building collapsed due to a shell hit on Shchorsa Street, shopping centers (TCs) and markets will suspend operations. The governor of the Belgorod region announced this during a live broadcast, his words are reported by Interfax.
“Tomorrow on Kharkov Mountain all large shopping centers and markets will not work, but shops and pharmacies must remain open,” said the head of the region. He also announced the transfer of children from on-duty kindergartens on Kharkov Mountain to safe educational institutions.
The entrance to a residential building in Belgorod collapsed as a result of being hit by fragments of a Ukrainian Tochka-U missile on Sunday, May 12. According to the latest data, 25 people were injured; another 15 residents of the house could not be saved.
Search work was completed at the site of the collapse of the house entrance; rescuers managed to pull 17 people alive from under the rubble. The attack was reported to Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Head of State gave the necessary instructions to Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov and the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Alexander Kurenkov.
