There were real moments of panic yesterday afternoon in the Esselunga car park in Broni, Pavia. Here a 48-year-old woman was hit by a car while she was going shopping. According to initial reconstructions, the woman, whose only initials are known, a certain AL, was crossing the parking when she was hit by a Lancia Delta driven by a man who, busy looking for a parking space, did not see her, hitting her head on. The impact was violent and the woman was even stuck under the vehicle.
The firefighters intervened immediately. After an operation rescue which lasted about fifteen minutes, they managed to free the woman and entrust her to the care of 118. Her condition immediately appeared serious and the 48-year-old was urgently transported to the San Matteo Polyclinic in Pavia. She is still hospitalized here with a reserved prognosis.
