The ‘Isolated Upper Level Depression’ or ‘Dana’ is a depression in the upper levels of the atmosphere, which favors the development of clouds, which can generate heavy rains and, consequently, floods.

According to State Meteorological Agency (Aemet)the highest records of accumulated precipitation are in Borriol, La Serratella, Vall d’Alba, Onda, Catí, Marines, Castelló de la Plana, Almassora, Vila-real, and Valencia.
The Aemet withdrew the red alert that had been in force since Friday due to a decrease in rainfall, but a yellow alert is still in place due to forecast rains and winds. In Mallorca, however, the orange alert is still in force due to strong winds.
Two dead and three wounded
Toledo is one of the regions most affected by storms. There, according to Spanish Civil Guard, a 20-year-old man died in the town due to rainfall.
In Bargas, another man was found without vital signs for the same reasons.
It should be noted that, according to the president of Castilla La-Mancha, Emiliano García-Page, on Sunday the emergency services prioritized the rescue of people before withdrawing the water.
